Description

Hmmm, let's see here. A girl in a customized Sailor Senshi uniform. A two-headed Aflac duck. Another girl in a combination of a PPGZ uniform and Fairy Leviathan's armor. A Black Maine Coon outright breaking the fourth wall. And a sign thanking my direct online associates for a decade's worth of role-playing.

...Nope, that's not unusual at all!

I'll tackle these in order. The girl in the Sailor Senshi outfit is my role-playing character of choice, Callista O. Wilson-Metallium (yeah, she hates her initials). To go into her backstory would take more time than I have at present, so if I do a separate drawing of her I'll elaborate there. Her uniform, in which she's known as Sailor Zeta, is little-used and is more of a formality than anything else; the forum she originated in used to award planets/moons of call to those who had more than 1,000 posts to their name, after which they'd become the Princess of that locale (which was later adjusted to 'Senshi' after some forum changes). I selected Zeta Aquilae; I used to play Descent II a lot, and for some reason that location always stuck with me.

The two-headed Aflac duck was a minor character I created back around... I'd like to
say 2012, but don't quote me on that. During a minor discussion while I was role-playing, someone mentioned something about a 'paradox'. Just for fun I interpreted that as 'paraducks', the wheels started turning, and the two-headed fowl modeled after Aflac's mascot was born. Officially known as "Paradux", he's benign but feisty: he's capable of re-writing reality at random if someone takes offense to him, which is almost always if he decides to perch on someone's head. In the picture, he's the one responsible for the "thank you" sign being almost completely mottled where it was previously plain white.

The girl in the dual uniform isn't a wholly original creation. For those of you who've seen Demashita! Powerpuff Girls Z, you'll recognize the name "Matsubara Kaoru" (and if you haven't, TV Tropes has a basic rundown of her character). Due to events involving a bottle of A&W root beer, an insane mazoku, a transformation belt and a Phoenix Down (I'll leave that to your imagination), Kaoru became ingrained in Callista's mind as a separate entity and can swap bodies with her at any time; in addition, the two can split apart for short periods if either of them eats a special cookie. At some point she commissioned a custom Fairy Leviathan uniform from a renowned costume designer; wearing it when transforming allows her access to the complete power-sets of both characters, turning her into the aptly-named Glacial Buttercup.

Finally, the Black Maine Coon. Remember Amber Harrison, from my last picture? Yeah, that's her true form as Ambush Cat. He goes anywhere, does anything he wants, and cares not one bit for the rules of reality... in short, he's a typical cat. There's more, especially concerning that purple gem shard in his forehead, but again I can't explain it all here. (NOTE: There WAS a gem in his forehead... until I realized after posting this that it disappeared while I was finishing up this project. Sweating a little... )
