...But I have been tagged by , so I have to list 13 facts about myself, answer 13 questions, ask 13 questions, and tag 7 people other than the person who tagged me. MOOD MUSIC, everyone!
#1: My role-playing character of choice is a deranged shopaholic.
#2: I listen to all types of music aside from rap and any type of rock music more extreme than heavy metal.
#3: I had a weird dream depicting the Straw Hat Pirates and the residents of the Scarlet Devil Mansion on the same spaceship a few nights ago.
#4: I have never been to Boston in the fall.
#5: Ever since I got a CPAP machine to help me breathe easier in my sleep, my dreams have been getting increasingly lucid and bizarre.
#6: My favorite athlete of all time is Joe Dumars III, former player for the Detroit Pistons.
#7: I am not Rappaport.
#8: I firmly believe that outside of a cat, a book is man's best friend. Inside of a cat, it's too dark to read.
#9: Bugs and spiders terrify me. Don't ask me why.
#10: My other role-playing character of choice is a deranged Black Maine Coon who makes reality his personal chew-toy.
#11: I figure I'm about 140 pounds overweight, and my goal is to return to my normal weight. That is, 70 pounds overweight.
#12: I had another weird dream last night depicting me having a conversation with Remilia Scarlet outside of a local gas station during the daytime.
#13: I've never owned a home video game console newer than a Super Nintendo.
NEXT, responses to questions:
#1: What was your favorite vacation? -- I don't like vacations on general principles. The only real "good" vacation I remember being on was in 2003-04 or thereabouts, when we spent a day at Ocean City, Maryland visiting my older brother. The Atlantic Ocean never looked so awesome.
#2: What do you think of heart transplants? -- If they keep people alive, I'm cool with them.
#3: Did you have surgeries? -- Nope. My health may not be the greatest, but it hasn't yet gotten to the point where I would require surgery to stay alive.
#4: What type of music do you listen to? -- *facepalm* I should've double-checked before listing facts about myself... see Fact #2 above.
#5: What cheers you up? -- The rambling nonsense of raocow, and the collection-obsessed commentary of RoahmMythril.
#6: What is your favorite book to read? -- Pretty much anything written by Jim Kjelgaard, a mid-20th century nature author. Any Garfield collection will do in a pinch, too.
#7: Who is your hero? -- My parents. It's because of them that I have morals weighing down my temper, after all. Without them, I probably wouldn't be in any position to type this.
#8: Do you have a job? -- Yep. Title researcher in a small town. Doesn't pay much, but I'm happy with it.
#9: What are you embarrassed about? -- The fact that my mother's more obsessed with cats than I am, and that's saying something.
#10: How old are you? -- Old enough that I can safely say that the Detroit Tigers' last World Series championship was within my lifetime.
#11: Where do you live? -- Kansas, USA.
#12: What is your favorite color? -- Blue and gray.
#13: What is your favorite animal? -- It's in my name, silly. >^_^<
NOW THEN, here's some stuff to answer:
#1: What would you consider the answer to life's problems? This may or may not be a serious question, I dunno.
#2: Where's the best place you've ever been?
#3: Favorite song, and by whom?
#4: Heads, tails, or edge?
#5: Have you ever seen a dot matrix printer?
#6: #2 or #3 pencil?
#7: Favorite non-candy snack of choice?
#8: Have you ever held out a coffee cup and just followed where it took you?
#9: Ever been a victim of a random act of management?
#10: Ever been bowling?
#11: Do woodchucks chuck wood?
#12: Favorite animal?
#13: Have you ever felt like a meaningless cog? If you haven't, have you ever felt like working up to being one?
AND FINALLY, some tags. If you feel like breaking the chain, it's no skin off my nose. Ciao mein, everyone!

For the few of you in my Zero Context group...
I just wanted to let you know that "Woolgathering"'s hiatus MIGHT be ending soon. The artist I commissioned to draw the artwork of Ellen Harrison that I wanted got in contact with me today; there's still a few people ahead of me on the list (and it was a long list), but after two long years they're finally nearing the point where they're ready to get it worked on. I doubt I'll be able to devote a lot of focus to it right now; I'm currently working on "Manehattan's Lone Guardian" at present, and I am terrible at splitting my focus between multiple projects. However, I'll let you know when the artist has finished their work. And if I'm able to resume Woolgathering, y'all will be the first to know. --Curtis Wildcat
Regarding MLP/MMZ Crossover
Don't know if too many people are going to read this, but I may as well put it out there. I'm currently working on a crossover between MLP: FiM and Mega Man Zero. I don't know if I'm going to ever post it here or not, so I might as well at least try to get the word out. The general gist of the story is that after Fairy Leviathan gets caught in Omega's destruction at the end of Zero 3, she ends up in the city of Manehattan, Equestria. Shenanigans, both humorous and serious, ensue. I wrote a chapter completely on a whim back in August, it got some positive reception, and I figured "Alright, let's see how far I can go with this" and kept on writing. If you feel like it's something you might be interested in reading, you're more than welcome to. The link's at the bottom of this journal entry. Ciao mein, everyone! https://www.fimfiction.net/story/501459/manehattans-lone-guardian
...Seriously, DeviantArt?
For those of you watching my account, I recently uploaded Chapter 7 of Zero Context: Taking Out the Trash. However, for reasons unbeknownst to me, the chapter is not showing up in my gallery, and all my efforts to make it show up have been thwarted by way of the options not being available for some reason. It IS available in the group I run (you can't miss it; it has "Zero Context" right in the name), so if for some reason you're curious enough to read it, just scroll down to the bottom of my page and click. I have to wonder why it's doing this. I mean, I have it marked as Mature due to "Moderate" use of violence, but should that by itself really be enough? It wasn't doing this with any of my other chapters. When something similar happened with a different chapter I was at least able to locate it by running a search on my account, but it's not working this time... ADDENDUM: Figured out what the problem was. I had someone else's image, in this case a "demotivational poster" of Anubis
Considering an Upgrade.
I'm the slightest bit frustrated. I've been trying to better my drawing ability recently, but it's getting to the point where pencil and paper just isn't cutting it due to how long it takes me to fix any errors. I think it's long past time I upgraded from physical to digital media, as it seems to afford much more flexibility. (Yeah, yeah, I know, 'about time' and all that. Cut me some slack; reading's my thing, not drawing.) The thing is, I'm not in the know as to what graphics tablets work best or whether any of them are compatible with my art program of choice (namely, Paint dot Net), and I don't have the time to do any serious digging. Would anyone out there happen to have any suggestions? Much obliged. --Curtis Wildcat
